important; do not buy a hybrid drive, if you need a boot drive that is faster than a hard drive, do save up for an SSD

Is it just my internet connection being terrible or is downloading games from Steam today just rather slow?

At long last, I have an SSD

SSD's are getting stupid cheap now, you can almost get some 1TB NVMe's for under $200 now

Every single time I try to play the latest version of NMS my computer crashes, EVERY TIME, is this happening to anyone else?

A good use for a low powered gaming rig you just replaced; add in a really good wireless card, change a few Windows settings and you have yourself a router

I just gave the latest release of No Man's Sky a try, as with every update, basically most of my inventory became junk and the FPS just tanked for reasons I still don't understand

it appears I can hit 3466mhz with my memory with Ryzen, but that was wholly unproductive

the Sapphire Pulse RX Vega 56 is now available in the US, which has a very short PCB board, like they put a giant cooler on an ITX card. I'm predicting the Vega Nano is coming soon

question; is it known if DVI can be used to project HDR video?

3008 BIOS for my Hero is probably the biggest step forward I've had since jumping to Ryzen to being with; I can now run my RAM at 3200mhz easily, no hick ups or instabilities with running lower voltage on core (now below 1.264V) with my overclock, accurate temperature readings and incredibly stability with lowering memory timings (14-14-15-34-49) with room to lower them more. anyone on Ryzen, I recommend experimenting with lowering you tRC with your RAM, it's so worth it

looks like RAM is coming down in price especially 4000+mhz 2x8GB kits of DDR4 are getting close to $200 again, 16GB sticks are still not going down though

funny, the Linux version I installed isn't a rather unique distro and actually not even Linux at all, it's Solaris, I think I might be the only person using a Ryzen system on Solaris

I finished the story mode of NMS, how is this possible?

I have almost completed NMS, 2 years ago I didn't know this was possible, but it is, I kind of don't want to finish the story
