Test Any Game

I tried to run Madden 21 and NBA 2k21 on my modestly specced laptop and... It's actually a really fluid experience! I have to give two big thumbs up to EA and Take-Two for doing a great job ensuring their games are available at all on PC, and for ensuring they can run on just about anything assembled in the last 6 or 7 years. 6500u which is basically an i3-2100 or 3120 r7 m370 which is basically an HD 5750

Might have to invest in a gaming laptop. My GTX 1060 is aging to the point where I need to underclock it at stock clocks to keep it stable. It's been spitting 9-10 WERs the past couple weeks. The underclock has calmed things down for now. The current GPU market is a disasterpiece. I'd rather return to console gaming than spend 600+ dollars on a RTX 2060.

I've also played Republic Commando for the first time on an Original Xbox. What a game. Can't believe it was made so long ago. There are a few quirks and bullet sponges, but there are workarounds to these problems. Nading Super Battle Droids and performing actions yourself seem to do away with monotony. Still worth playing 16 or so years later.

11 years too late, but I've finally finished Alan Wake. Can't say it's aged well. The introduction and first 1/3 of the game are truly timeless. Then the bullet sponge enemies come. I hated holding a flashlight on one Taken for 4 batteries worth of time. During the final two acts. I just went full speedrun mode and just dropped flares by generators or objectives just to get the game over with. Which is a shame really because like I said earlier, the first third of the game is brilliant. It was truly great to explore every nook and cranny, but alas the game became decidedly "2010" not long after. I personally do not recommend playing it if you haven't. Just watch the cutscenes on YouTube or something lol spare yourself the boredom.

Do you guys think this will be sufficient for MSFT Visual Studio 2019 and a Zoom Call: i7 6500u (2c4t) Skylake Cores @ 2.5GHz. 3GHz Turbo (My laptops cooling is good enough to hold 2.95GHz 24/7) 2x8GB DDR3L CL10 1600Mhz 25.6GB/s Theoretical memory bandwidth. 1TB CX500 SSD. I don't want to upgrade if I don't strictly have to, but obviously if this machine can't serve its purpose I'll need to. I'd appreciate any and all thoughts. Much love!

We're coming on to nearly 9 years since the initial release of Dragon's Dogma. How has Capcom not released a sequel! I'm playing through BitterBlack Isle for the first time and it's astounding! After the REmakes, please for all that is holy, release Dragon's Dogma 2!

Hey all! Just started playing R6 Siege. I can't reach 240 fps with my system, but I'm fine sitting at 144hz for the time being. Just wanted to see if I should I go for a complete rebuild or just wait for ampere? I'm also willing to delid and OC to ~5GHz. Plenty of rumors saying that Ampere is going to be at least a paper launch by 1H 2020!

Same. Ignorant, pre-pubescent fanboys with a juvenile sense of humor
I'm shocked at the amount of people defending or rationalizing what PewDiePie did.

We have to add my opinion disclaimers in any given comments section now? I was always curious as to what that meant. I mean it was obviously my opinion, that's why I wrote it.

Been playing prey all weekend, it's pretty good, looks quite pretty too. just don't like the low gravity scenes as the control is quite poor.
