assuming I upgrade to 3700x now, would you recommend me upgrading my 1060 3gb in the start of 2021 and get like a 3070 or just get a ps5 and a 2660 ( newer 1660) a year later. I would only play the ps5 exclusives at the start as I get most of the games on pc. would the ps5 be worth it for old and upcoming exclusives or just nah? I usually play AAA singleplayer games so I do play new games regular

Can ya'll do me a favour and rate my setup? also is it normal that my fps drops to the mid 40s in recent demanding games such as KCD and AC:O or is there a bottleneck from my cpu? often both cpu and gpu usage are maxed or near maxed out in these situation.

If you can get a 580 for the price of a 1060 (6GB) I'd say go for it. But these cards are still crazy expensive, so I don't think you'll find one.

Should I get a 580 over a 1060 in hopes that it might give a performance boost in low level API terms and other performance optmisations?it is already on par with a 1060.

I5-4460+GTX 1060,good combo?

Man I wouldn't use adapters for GPU power connectors, trust me. I did that once and my PSU exploded. The amount of power connectors PSU manufacturers put on their PSU is proportionate to the amount of power that PSU can safely deliver.
