Yesterday was the latest Resident Evil Showcase event, which brought us some more RE goodness. With anticipation for the launch of Resident Evil Village on May 7th, Capcom have finally revealed when the promised PC demo will be coming, along with a few extra surprises along the way.
The Resident Evil series is back and bigger than ever, as Resident Evil Village is coming out on May 7th. So far we've only had hints as to what the recommended PC system requirements could be, and as it turns out we were pretty close as Capcom has revealed the official PC system requirements for Resident Evil 8.
Capcom has warned users of a potential phishing scam going around that is pretending to be Capcom and inviting players to an Early Access Beta of the upcoming Resident Evil 8, which launches on May 7th. Capcom warns not to open the emails and immediately delete them if possible.
We are just a couple months away from the return of the Resident Evil series as RE8 is set to launch on May 7th. Up until now though we have yet to see any actual PC footage of the game, but courtesy of AMD, has now been revealed to support ray tracing as well as FidelityFX features on PC.

Resident Evil 8, or Resident Evil Village, is set to launch this year and in anticipation for the game’s release Capcom is holding a Resident Evil showcase next week that will debut a brand new trailer and official gameplay demo for RE8.
Sony recently hosted another PlayStation 5 showcase, and whilst it was predominantly about new gameplay and trailers for the upcoming next-gen console, Sony also revealed the official launch date and price for the PS5.

However, one of the other notable surprises was the official reveal of Resident Evil 8, also known as Resident Evil Village. The latest Resident Evil entry seems to be making more of an impact on the RE series just as the previous one did, as Resident Evil 7 pretty much changed most of the fundamental features of the franchise, Resident Evil Village seems like it might be adding a couple of original mechanics…
