Disintegration, the debut title from Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto's new studio, V1 Interactive, is set to get a closed beta test at the end of this month. The Disintegration Technical Beta will be playable on PS4, Xbox One and PC over 28th and 29th January, and you can sign up here. If this one passed you by, Disintegration is a sci-fi shooter with an unmistakably Bungie aesthetic. There's a full single-player campaign plus PvP multiplayer. The twist, as it were, is you play a Gravcycle pilot who can utilise RTS elements to order a crew around on the ground while raining death from the air.
Just revealed via an Edge magazine exclusive, Disintegration is a mysterious new sci-fi first-person shooter from Marcus Lehto, one of the original creators of Halo: Combat Evolved. It’s the debut project from V1 Interactive, a new studio based in Seattle. Take-Two Interactive’s Private Division label will be handling publishing duties, its third new project after Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey and The Outer Worlds.
V1 Interactive development studio was founded back in 2014 by Marcus Lehto. Marcus has quite a strong gaming CV, as he was the co-creator of Halo and father of the Master Chief, while working as the Bungie Creative Director at the time. Today V1 announce, Disintegration a Sci-fi shooter and the studio's first game.
