Obsidian shared a new trailer for The Outer Worlds during Microsoft’s Xbox E3 briefing, demonstrating how the choice is totally in the players’ hands. Whether you want to be a hero, a villain, or a full-blown psychopath, the choice is yours in The Outer Worlds.
An update to Steam’s back-end database could have revealed the release date for The Outer Worlds, Obsidian Entertainment’s eagerly anticipated sci-fi RPG.
One of the most interesting things we were looking forward to during the Game Awards was the reveal of Obsidian Entertainment’s new project. Just as expected it’s a sci-fi space RPG called The Outer Worlds, offering 3D first-person adventuring antics in a wacky world.
Obsidian, now under the wing of Microsoft since their acquisition earlier this month, will be announcing a new RPG next week during the Game Awards. The all-new sci-fi RPG will be published by Take-Two’s new Private Division, so we’re assuming this was a deal that was inked long before Microsoft came around flashing its cash.
