Detroit: Become Human’s PC release date has been locked in. The (ex) PlayStation 4 exclusive will be launching through the Epic Games Store on December 12th.

Quantic Dream has dated all three its three narrative-driven adventures for release on PC. Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human were all PlayStation exclusives and will be coming to PC for the first time throughout this year.

Last week, Epic revealed Quantic Dream would be bringing a trio of its games to PC, exclusively through the Epic Games Store, including Detroit: Become Human, Heavy Rain, and Beyond Two Souls. Detroit: Become Human is one of the best-looking games I've ever laid my eyes on, so this is well poised to be a visual showcase on PC. 

Epic Games brought out the big guns yesterday evening, announcing a whole swathe of upcoming titles that’ll be exclusive to the Epic Games Store. This includes a trio of PlayStation 4 exclusives from Quantic Dream, made up of Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and last year’s Detroit: Become Human. Detroit was already one of the best-looking games going so it could look absolutely fantastic with the power of a gaming PC behind it.

Quantic Dream, creators of the divisive Detroit: Become Human and Heavy Rain, have relinquished their deal with Sony and become a multiplatform developer.

Fresh from the absolute juggernaut that is God of War, Sony’s next big PlayStation 4 exclusive is launching this Friday. Detroit: Become Human is the latest choice-based adventure game from the always controversial David Cage and his team at Quantic Dream, showcasing a near-future society in which androids have become fully immersed in society.

I actually missed this after the release date announcement a few days ago, but Quantic Dream also dropped an incredible looking new Official Release Date Trailer for Detroit: Become Human to go alongside the reveal.

Detroit: Become Human will be launching on May 25th for PlayStation 4, Quantic Dream has confirmed.

After years of waiting, Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream has finally taken the wraps off its new adventure game. Detroit: Become Human is a PS4-exclusive sci-fi game set in, you guessed it, futuristic Detroit. Beginning life as a PS3 tech demo called KARA back in 2012, it’s since ballooned out into a full game. It centres around Kara, an android who has been brought to life and wishes to become human.
