Sony’s cosy relationship with Activision and Bungie took centre stage yesterday evening during its press conference, but it was news of the PC version of Destiny 2 that we were really holding on for. Bungie confirmed the PC edition of Destiny 2 will be launching some seven weeks later, on October 24th. By then some of the rough edges should’ve been smoothed off, so thanks, beta testers. To make the extended wait a little easier, we have a new story trailer for Destiny 2 to feast our eyes on.

The focus of the trailer is on Ghaul, Destiny 2’s chief antagonist and commander of the Cabal’s Red Legion. As it turns out he’s not a nice chap, and his motivations seem to stem from eliminating the human race like some sort of intergalactic pest controller. Still, I want his armour. I'm going to shoot him until he's dead and wear his armour like a metal robe.

And er, that’s your lot for Destiny 2. It looks a lot like Destiny but with a 2 slapped on the end. Still, it’s coming to PC at long last with mouse & keyboard support, so who are we grumble.
