A sequel to The Evil Within has never been official confirmed, yet Japanese job listings have revealed The Evil Within 2 may be coming soon than we think. The jobs in question are for Translation and Quality Assurance / Bug Testing, for a game called PSYCHOBREAK 2. The original The Evil Within was known as Psycho Break in Japan.

I feel as if I'm in a vanishingly small minority that loved the original The Evil Within. The warped visions and rapid-fire scene changes meant you were never quite sure what was just around the corner, so I'm definitely intrigued to see what nightmares horror maestro Shinji Mikami can dream up next.

The positions are open from April 4 through to October 31st, suggesting Tango Gameworks and Bethesda may be targeting a Q3/Q4 launch for The Evil Within 2.

As for when we'll actually see the game, Bethesda's pre-E3 press conference in June seems like a safe bet.

Would you love it if Tango Gameworks was working on The Evil Within 2? What are the biggest flaws from the original which you believe are in need of fixing?
