I've had this board for a couple of years and it's been great! It fully supports the 3rd gen Core i5/i7 chips (Ivy Bridge) and also has fully supports PCIe 3.0 too. I didn't bother upgrading the motherboard when i bought my I5 3570K as this one has plenty of life left in it (i was previously running a Core i5 2500).
