Half-Life 3 has not been confirmed yet by Valve but this long awaited game is being rumored a lot. This will be the sequel to the well accepted Half-Life 2. The entire Half-Life franchise is developed by Valve. As expected, the game will remain in the FPS genre only. We expect a lot of new elements and gameplay improvements in the title. The game is yet to be confirmed, so do check back for more information.

Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB Performance Review

Running a Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB to play Half-Life 3 shows us that we expect it to deliver a struggling 36 FPS. Note that those results would be running at High and 1920x1080 screen res.

In lieu of those results we would not recommend the Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB to run Half-Life 3 on 1440p. Running it at 1440p Medium is certainly something that the Radeon RX 5300 XT 4GB could do. Returning a playable 41 frames a second on the reasonably large resolution setting of 2560x1440. But by contrast Ultra 1080p will get 26 FPS on Half-Life 3.

Low vs Ultra summary, certainly a good resolution range for this game would be 1080p. Half-Life 3 will get a 1080p Low 69 FPS, or 1080p Medium 54 FPS, and a passable 1080p High 36 FPS, whereas the 1080p Ultra can still get up to 26 FPS.
