GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR5

Low Vs Ultra GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR5 Performance Review

The experience of playing Half-Life 3 through a GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR5 is going to deliver a solid 74 FPS. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

The GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR5 is going to do great at 1440p. We can see that in Ultra 1440p we will avg around 40 FPS. At High setting it gets 57FPS, but it is also capable of bumping up to 4K in High settings. 4K High will return 34 FPS or 4K Medium gets 50 FPS. Converting this into a cost per FPS we are looking at $0 on High settings and $0 at Medium.

In summary, 1440p resolution shows itself to be the optimum performance vs visuals for the GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR5. While it can certainly get a strong 1080p Ultra of 53 FPS, if you want to move up to 1440p on Half-Life 3 then we can see 1440p Low setting getting 107 FPS or the Medium returning 84 FPS. Change graphics settings up to High for 57 FPS and then Ultra gets 40 FPS.
