Batman: Arkham Asylum packshot image
The game begins with Batman capturing the Joker after his latest plot, escorting him to Arkham Asylum for imprisonment. Due to Joker's recent attack on Gotham's prison, a large number of sane convicts have been transferred to Arkham. Joker, however has set a trap inside the asylum, using the its own impenetrable defenses against him. Batman must now not only try to escape from the hazards of Arkham, but also recapture the Joker and reveal his true intentions.
Gameplay places just as much focus on Batman's role as a detective as his combat prowess. Most of the game is played through an over-the-shoulder, third person perspective. It has been hinted that certain villains might be playable at some point in the game although this may be as an unlockable element after completing the game. Arkham was chosen as a location because of its limitations including the fact that it's located on an island. Arkham will be a persistent location that the player will be able to freely roam, including an area that serves as Batman's secret on-site Bat Cave.

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB Performance Review

After playing Batman: Arkham Asylum on a Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB it will get a very strong 200+ FPS. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

At $0.81 per FPS at 4K, if we assume the GPU’s launch price. This GPU can play Batman: Arkham Asylum at a respectable 200+ frame rate on 4K Ultra.

The Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB along with the right system memory, 2GB, is very capable of getting top FPS results even at 4K Ultra graphics settings. We would recommend 4K as the way to go here. Especially if you have a AMD Ryzen R7 1800X processor or better.

In summary, the performance delivered by this graphics card easily overpowers that needed by Batman: Arkham Asylum. We expect to get a very strong frame rate of 200+ FPS at 1080p Ultra, but would advise moving up to 1440p Ultra to get 200+ frames per second or even 200+ FPS at 4K Ultra as the Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB can handle this. It just comes down to your preferred resolution then tweak your graphics settings to deliver the desired effects, without a care for performance.
