Batman: Arkham Asylum packshot image
The game begins with Batman capturing the Joker after his latest plot, escorting him to Arkham Asylum for imprisonment. Due to Joker's recent attack on Gotham's prison, a large number of sane convicts have been transferred to Arkham. Joker, however has set a trap inside the asylum, using the its own impenetrable defenses against him. Batman must now not only try to escape from the hazards of Arkham, but also recapture the Joker and reveal his true intentions.
Gameplay places just as much focus on Batman's role as a detective as his combat prowess. Most of the game is played through an over-the-shoulder, third person perspective. It has been hinted that certain villains might be playable at some point in the game although this may be as an unlockable element after completing the game. Arkham was chosen as a location because of its limitations including the fact that it's located on an island. Arkham will be a persistent location that the player will be able to freely roam, including an area that serves as Batman's secret on-site Bat Cave.

Batman: Arkham Asylum

GeForce GTX 1060 3GB

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Performance Review

The experience of playing Batman: Arkham Asylum through a GeForce GTX 1060 3GB is going to return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. That result is taken on High graphics and a screen resolution of 1080p.

Playing Batman: Arkham Asylum on Ultra 4k is certainly possible with this graphics card and we expect it will return around 200+ frames per second at that top scale resolution.

Finding a PC with this gpu or better would return some strong FPS in Batman: Arkham Asylum. We would definitely recommend running at 4K screen res and on ultra, before trying any lower screen resolution. You would also need at least 2GB of RAM. Perhaps couple this gaming PC with a processor that's as powerful as the Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz and Ultra 4K would be a smooth experience.

In summary, if you are looking to play Batman: Arkham Asylum in Ultra then you have come with the right graphics card. The GeForce GTX 1060 3GB can chew through the graphical performance needs of the game with relative ease. 1080p Ultra will return 200+ frames, then the larger screen resolution of 1440p can deliver 200+ FPS, with the 4K resolution seeing 200+ FPS in Ultra as well.
