GeForce RTX 2080 Mobile

Low Vs Ultra GeForce RTX 2080 Mobile Performance Review

Booting up F1 2020 with the 1 year old GeForce RTX 2080 Mobile looks like it will deliver a solid 88 FPS. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

Using the GeForce RTX 2080 Mobile launch price as a benchmark, lets look at the cost per frame rate at various resolutions. 4K Ultra is $0, 1440p Ultra is $0 and 1080p Ultra costs $0. This graphics card is great at 1440p and here it gets 48FPS at Ultra, 67FPS at High and 99FPS on Medium settings. It might be worth moving up to 4K Medium to get 59FPS or perhaps High 4K to return 40FPS.

In summary, we feel that the GeForce RTX 2080 Mobile looks and performs great on 1440p resolution. So if you want a 1440p F1 2020 experience it will generate 126 FPS on Low 1440p graphics setting, 99 FPS when on Medium 1440p, 67 FPS when played at High settings and down to 48 FPS when turned up to Ultra on 1440p. You might still be looking for 1080p though to get some higher smoother FPS, where you could get 63 FPS at Ultra 1080p resolution. So something to think about.
