Radio General

Radeon RX 470 4GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 470 4GB Performance Review

Booting up Radio General with the 4 year old Radeon RX 470 4GB looks like it will return a consistently high 97 frame rate. With that performance recorded at 1920x1080 res when running High graphics.

Radeon RX 470 4GB can run at 53 FPS at 1440p on Ultra graphics settings, but increasing resolution to 4K for better visuals can be achieved on Medium graphics setting, returning 66FPS. Using the GPU release price we can see the cost per frame rate on 1440p Ultra costs $3.38 compared to the Medium graphics setting at 4K costs $2.71 per FPS.

In summary, we feel that the Radeon RX 470 4GB looks and performs great on 1440p resolution. So if you want a 1440p Radio General experience it will generate 140 FPS on Low 1440p graphics setting, 110 FPS when on Medium 1440p, 74 FPS when played at High settings and down to 53 FPS when turned up to Ultra on 1440p. You might still be looking for 1080p though to get some higher smoother FPS, where you could get 70 FPS at Ultra 1080p resolution. So something to think about.
