Minecraft: Dungeons

GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q

Low Vs Ultra GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q Performance Review

Playing Minecraft: Dungeons on the GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q, which is a 3 year old graphics card will likely deliver a solid 84 FPS. Note that those results would be running at High and 1920x1080 screen res.

The GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q is going to do great at 1440p. We can see that in Ultra 1440p we will avg around 46 FPS. At High setting it gets 64FPS, but it is also capable of bumping up to 4K in High settings. 4K High will return 38 FPS or 4K Medium gets 57 FPS. Converting this into a cost per FPS we are looking at $0 on High settings and $0 at Medium.

To summarise, we feel that with the GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q you can enjoy Minecraft: Dungeons at 1440p resolution pretty comfortably. The graphics card is going to run smoother on High 1440p rather than Ultra, where it would be getting 46 FPS. But when run on 1440p High it would get 64 FPS, and at Medium 95 FPS and then on Low it would return 121 FPS. The GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q would also be good at 1080p Ultra, getting 60 FPS.
