Grand Theft Auto VI packshot image
Nothing yet is known about GTA VI but it is understood to be in production at Rockstar. Early reports suggest Grand Theft Auto 6 will once more be set in a fictional US city although it seems like there was consideration to set it in Japan

What FPS does a Radeon RX 580 4GB get @ 1080p?

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 580 4GB Performance Review

Playing Grand Theft Auto VI on the Radeon RX 580 4GB, which is a 2 year old graphics card will likely have a low FPS of 33 frames per second. Note that those results would be running at High and 1920x1080 screen res.

In lieu of those results we would not recommend the Radeon RX 580 4GB to run Grand Theft Auto VI on 1440p. Running it at 1440p Medium is certainly something that the Radeon RX 580 4GB could do. Returning a playable 37 frames a second on the reasonably large resolution setting of 2560x1440. But by contrast Ultra 1080p will get 24 FPS on Grand Theft Auto VI.

To summarise, you may be toying with the idea that a 1440p resolution could be achieved with this Radeon RX 580 4GB graphics card, but in so doing you would have to drop the graphics settings to pretty Low according to our assessment. But let the Grand Theft Auto VI frame rate numbers decide and guide. 1080p Medium 49 FPS, 1080p High setting: 33 FPS, 1080p Ultra setting: 24 FPS, 1440p Low setting: 47 FPS, 1440p Medium setting: 37 FPS. Our Low vs Ultra analysis tells us that you would be better placed running this at 1080p, but at least you could still tinker with graphics settings for 1440p to perhaps be passable?
