The starting races will include the High Elves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen and a fourth race that we believe to be Skaven. Total War: Warhammer 2

GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR5

Low Vs Ultra GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR5 Performance Review

The experience of playing Total War: Warhammer 2 through a GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR5 is going to return a consistently high 135 frame rate. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

And so following those results you could of course play this at 1080p, but this GPU is somewhat wasted at that resolution. We would suggest running Total War: Warhammer 2 at 4K Ultra instead, where the GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR5 would still get 37 FPS at these performance hungry settings and resolution. When considering the GPUs release price, this comes in at $0 per Ultra 4K FPS or $0 at 1440p Ultra.

In summary, 1440p resolution shows itself to be the optimum performance vs visuals for the GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR5. While it can certainly get a strong 1080p Ultra of 97 FPS, if you want to move up to 1440p on Total War: Warhammer 2 then we can see 1440p Low setting getting 144 FPS or the Medium returning 113 FPS. Change graphics settings up to High for 76 FPS and then Ultra gets 54 FPS.
