Total War: Warhammer 2

GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB Performance Review

Playing Total War: Warhammer 2 on the GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB, which is a 6 year old graphics card will likely return a reliable 60 FPS. And those results are assuming a 1920x1080 screen resolution at High setting level.

When looking at the recommended requirements for Total War: Warhammer 2 we can see that this GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB is far better served running it on Ultra even at 4K, where it would achieve 36FPS. But it could cost around $8.31 per FPS at 4K. Compare this to Ultra 1440p, which is a more reasonable $4.90 per FPS.

In summary, a GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB can get a strong performance here, even at larger screen resolutions. We aren’t always seeing the top frame rates at 4K, but it is playable with some graphics tweaks, especially if you drop to Medium (63FPS). You will get 27FPS at High. But we really suggest running Total War: Warhammer 2 at the 1440p screen res mark. 1440p High will get you 46 FPS, and even Ultra can get up to 61 FPS on 1440p.
