Saints Row 3 packshot image
Saints Row 3, also known as Saints Row The Third, is a third-person shooter video game being developed by Volition, Inc. and to be published by THQ for the Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable systems. It is the third title in the Saints Row series, after the release of Saints Row 2 in 2008. It is currently set to be released during Q3/Q4 2011. The game was set to debut at E3 2010 but did not appear to allow developer Volition to rebuild parts of the game. Spike's Video Game Awards in December 2010 were set to include a first look at the game, but developer Volition instead showed their new game, a collaboration with Guillermo Del Toro, inSANE.

Saints Row 3

Radeon Vega Frontier Edition 16GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon Vega Frontier Edition 16GB Performance Review

Playing Saints Row 3 on the Radeon Vega Frontier Edition 16GB, which is a 4 year old graphics card will likely return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. Those frames are achieved on Saints Row 3 when being played at 1920x1080 screen resolution and on High graphics.

Playing Saints Row 3 on Ultra 4k is certainly possible with this graphics card and we expect it will return around 200+ frames per second at that top scale resolution.

Finding a PC with this gpu or better would return some strong FPS in Saints Row 3. We would definitely recommend running at 4K screen res and on ultra, before trying any lower screen resolution. You would also need at least 4GB of RAM.

To summarise, with this graphics card you do not need concern yourself too much regarding Saints Row 3 frame rates. Because Ultra graphics setting can be turned on across all resolutions up to 4K quite comfortably. We are seeing 4K getting 200+ FPS, 1440p will get 200+ frame rate and if you are interested then 1080p gaming can get 200+ FPS. Based around the Radeon Vega Frontier Edition 16GB launch price, we calculate the cost per frame at different resolutions. 1080p Ultra frames will cost $2.08, 1440p frames cost $2.73 each and then the 4K costs $4.58 per frame.
