Saints Row 3 packshot image
Saints Row 3, also known as Saints Row The Third, is a third-person shooter video game being developed by Volition, Inc. and to be published by THQ for the Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable systems. It is the third title in the Saints Row series, after the release of Saints Row 2 in 2008. It is currently set to be released during Q3/Q4 2011. The game was set to debut at E3 2010 but did not appear to allow developer Volition to rebuild parts of the game. Spike's Video Game Awards in December 2010 were set to include a first look at the game, but developer Volition instead showed their new game, a collaboration with Guillermo Del Toro, inSANE.

Saints Row 3

GeForce GTX 1060 3GB

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Performance Review

The experience of playing Saints Row 3 through a GeForce GTX 1060 3GB is going to return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. That result is taken on High graphics and a screen resolution of 1080p.

Playing Saints Row 3 on Ultra 4k is certainly possible with this graphics card and we expect it will return around 117 frames per second at that top scale resolution.

Finding a PC with this gpu or better would return some strong FPS in Saints Row 3. We would definitely recommend running at 4K screen res and on ultra, before trying any lower screen resolution. You would also need at least 4GB of RAM. Perhaps couple this gaming PC with a processor that's as powerful as the Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz and Ultra 4K would be a smooth experience.

In summary, if you are looking to play Saints Row 3 in Ultra then you have come with the right graphics card. The GeForce GTX 1060 3GB can chew through the graphical performance needs of the game with relative ease. 1080p Ultra will return 200+ frames, then the larger screen resolution of 1440p can deliver 196 FPS, with the 4K resolution seeing 117 FPS in Ultra as well.
