Core i7-2700K 4-Core 3.5GHz is a high-end CPU based on the 32nm, Sandy Bridge architecture.
It offers 4 Physical Cores (8 Logical), initially clocked at 3.5GHz, which may go up to 3.9GHz and 8MB of L3 Cache.
Among its many features, HyperThreading, Turbo Boost and Virtualization are activated and the processor has unlocked multiplier.
The processor integrates average Graphics called Intel HD i7 2700K (variant of Intel HD Graphics 3000), with 12 Execution Units, initially clocked at 850MHz and that go up to 1350MHz, in Turbo Mode which share the L2 Cache and system RAM with the processor.
Both the processor and integrated graphics have a rated board TDP of 95W.

Upgrade your gpu, your cpu is better than 8350 for most games
okeey , thks for the answer :) ! what do you suggest for gpu's ?
for 1080p
for 1440p, 980, 390x, 970, 390.
for 2160p, 980 ti / fury x
thks a lot dude i will go with a 970 i guess for now i just have a monitor of 1600p900 so it will be great !!!
No problem. Glad to help.
I have an i7 2700k and can OC it with a Coolermaster Hyper X 212 air cooler to 4.7Ghz , but I generally leave it at 4.4/4.5Ghz for stability and paired with and Asus Turbo 1070 anf 16GB RAM @ 2133Mhz I get 60+fps @ 1080p max settings. Great
yes it will be a good upgrade
I found this cpu+mobo+16gb of ram for 320$ is it worthy upgrade?
yes it would be a good upgrade for you, go for it.
Its sold by now and i didnt have money, so im planing on ugrade in about 2 years when i go to college.
would a gtx 760 be a good match for this cpu?
Its a good match, this CPU can even handle more powerful GPUs.
like buddy said here i7 2600k can easy handle even more powerfull gpus especially if you oc this beast
my i5 4210U smokes this lel, 2.7 dual core, why? I run far cry 3 at 40 fps maxed with nvidia 840M 2 gb VRAM and 4 Gb of RAM , LOL
Proof or it didnt happen.
seems like this i7 is the least popular choice in G-D i rarely sees other member use this 2700k model. any particular reason?
Maybe because it's expensive as hell? :D
yeah it's really expensive, and you may as well get a strong i5 core for cheaper
Great CPU, love it! :)
Hey Thor44, sorry for the random question but I see you OC'd your CPU and GPU…. Is it worth it?
Depends, do you feel like you need the extra performance?
Sorry for the late reply :D
But yes I overclocked my CPU to 4.3 GHZ and have been running it rockstable for over a year. I have done a number of tests, this cpu is made for overclocking.
the 2600k is cheaper, the 2700k is the 2600k but not noticeably faster, so people tend to go with the 2600k
I am suppose to get a used 2700K for 200$ Canadian which i find a better buy than getting a new motherboard and a i5 4690K.
holy 8mb cache
holy a server cpu!
