There are 2 versions of this processor namely the AMD Athlon X2 5600+ Windsor 2,8 GHZ ( 89 watt ) and Brisbane 2,9 GHZ ( 65 watt). I still have the Brisbane and I can tell its less power hungry and actually has 100 Mhz more Frequency than the Windsor core. It performs well for everyday tasks and even in some modern games wich are not quad core optimized.
