i got this cpu but im curious that turbo speed when it kicks in i can play games which require 3.0GHZ Processor! but it still keeps running the 6cores on 2600MH
when does that turbo core kick in?
I'm sure somehow it makes me less of a gamer, but I keep all my parts at stock settings. I've never overclocked a single thing and yet this cpu still has plenty of power to spare.
it doesn't mean you're not a gamer, it just means you're not an overclocker, so what if OC is not your thing? TBH OCing has different views, some people do it for fun, some to break world records, some think it just reeduces the lifespan for a few more FPS.
Love this cpu, overclocks very easily to 3.25 ghz
this one is having AMDTurbo CORE Techonology 2.0 and also note that L1 cache is 6x64kb and l2 cache is 6x512kb and ofcourse the l3 cache is 6mb:)
hey if u want to run battlefield 3 buy quad core 6600 and you can play on high and a better video card
