Core i7-7800X 6-Core 3.5GHz Game Requirement Analysis

The Intel Core i7-7800X 6-Core 3.5GHz is a high-end CPU based on the 14nm, Skylake-X micro architecture.

It offers 6 physical cores (12 logical), initially clocked at 3.5GHz, which may go up to 4.0GHz with boost, and 8.25MB of L3 Cache.

Among its many features, Turbo Boost 3.0 and Virtualization are activated and the processor has its multiplier unlocked.

With a 140W TDP, the Core i7-7800X hexa-core is relatively power hungry.

Your CPU is a 8/16 CPU, which is got 30% more cores/threads than this one does. In gaming, this demolishes your CPU. I've had 7800X and 1700 myself.

In BF 1, i got 25% better min and avg. fps with a 1080Ti, and that was on 1440P/ultra.

As an owner of this processor I can shed some details on it. It does have an unlocked multiplier and the turbo on a single core is 4.0ghz.
L2 cache is higher than the L3 on this chip.

I have plenty of benchmarks ready to post.
