Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz is a performance CPU based on the 22nm, Haswell architecture.
It offers 4 Physical Cores (4 Logical), initially clocked at 3.5GHz, which may go up to 3.9GHz and 6MB of L3 Cache.
Among its many features, Turbo Boost and Virtualization are activated and the processor has multiplier unlocked.
The processor integrates powerful Graphics called Intel HD Graphics 4600, with 20 Execution Units, initially clocked at 350MHz and that go up to 1200MHz, in Turbo Mode which share the L2 Cache and system RAM with the processor.
Both the processor and integrated graphics have a rated board TDP of 88W.
Compared to Core i5-4670K there's an overall 3% performance boost. Its performance is exceptionally good and enough for even the most demanding applications.

should i get a gtx 1080 for my build? i OC'ed my cpu to 4.3
is this cpu bottlenecking my system? seem to be having issues with games getting a steady 60fps ? :(
Yep, you should get the 4790k (which is the best 1150 socket can get) or overclock this one to 4.5Ghz or so.
Does it, this CPU good for my GPU: Gainward GTX 1060 3GB and 8GB RAM with ASUS H81M-K MBO. Thank you! :)
I guess. I'd go with a Z97 board since the 4690k has an unlocked multiplier.
Because I have no plan OC CPU. If I'm worth buying then that processor?
Sorry for my English. Thanks.
Then get none k like something i5 4590
Ok man. I buying then i5 4460.
I've got a stable overclock of 4.5Ghz at 1.22V on air. I had a stable 4.7229Ghz but would reach the 80s while gaming so I had to say goodby to it. Reason next build will be custom water cooled.
Bought a whole set of custom water cooling set up and stole a 40 liter water barrel to cool a X5650 at 4.2Ghz. Turned out it reaches 80 degrees immediately, same result as my air cooling. Guess it was because it was drawing too much power that no cooling system could hold on to it.
Here in Serbia this CPU costs $330…
I5 4690k or Fx 9370?
I'd say i5. With an 9370, you won't be able to upgrade while with an i5, you can still go up to an i7.
can anyone tell me that how i5 4690k 3.5 GHz and i5 4590 3.3 GHz affect on games FPS, are they both give same FPS on every games?
can someone give me a good setting for oc on 4.3 ghz? i have pretty decent cooling
I followed this table at anandtech.com, but my CPU needed a bit more voltage. At 4.3GHz my CPU is 100% stable at 1.146V.

Try using OCCT for stability (1h) and prime95 for max temperature test (DO NOT go higher than 26.6 version for haswell!) Good luck!
Can anyone please tell me where to voltage should be if i overclock to 4.3ghz???
On a Asrock H97 fatality performance.
1.2 to 1.25v Mine ran fine on 1.2v @4.2 and 1.25v @4.4
file mou, diladi apla na allaksw to voltage??
Vai, av 8elis higher clock speeds, 8elis pio polli voltage. (rip greek without greek keyboard and autocorrect :D)
Is it worth it to upgrade to this CPU?
I'm planning to OC the crap out of this thing tho…
Also, if it is worth it, will I be able to adequately (4.2GHZ+) OC this with my board and cooler?
GIGABYTE H97-GAMING 3 and Coolermaster Nepton 280L (4 fans push/pull)
No, wait for 7/8th gen, your current is good for now, but overclocking on a H mobo is difficult as not everything is "unlocked"
ahhh ok cool man thanks for the help :)
