i im going to purchase an acer aspire timeline ultra but i dont know if price to performance ratio is worth it its the same laptop but different ram and cpu so here we go
i5 3337u , 6gb ram , gt 730m £570
i7 3537u , 4gb ram , gt 730m £650
should i spend all my money for the i7 or should i keep the money and go with the i5 and maybe upgrade the ram even further for the i5 ? , thanks and much appreciated

you should buy the i5 version 'cause i7 only improves multi-tasking but doesn't improve gaming performance….if you want the laptop for gaming then i5 version is better.

The i7 is just 0.2 GHz faster, it is not worth the upgrade because the i7 is still a dual core so you will not notice a big gaming upgrade

I prefer going for the i7, bigger l3 cache and better processing with more MGh, and since all computers can be upgraded you can buy another 4gb ram for the £650 computer and you will have 8gb ram ;)
