How well can the GeForce GTX 670 MSI Power Edition run games
14 Nov 2019 - Graphics card reviewed

This graphics card offers upper mid level gaming performance. The GeForce GTX 670 MSI Power Edition GPU could struggle if it was to try and run the most demanding games available today, but it meets a lot of game system requirements found in today’s games. All games with system requirements of DirectX 11 or lower are met by this card.

How well will the GeForce GTX 670 MSI Power Edition run 2019 games? We will take a look at the biggest releases and frames per second analysis on Ultra graphics settings. Of the 1000 most demanding recommended specs found in game requirements today, this gpu is more powerful than the graphics requirement of 274 games in todays list.

A GeForce GTX 670 MSI Power Edition card at 1080p is predicted to see a weak frame rate when running Cyberpunk 2077 on Ultra - 0 FPS. Lets look at the predicted performance it will get on Death Stranding which is 0 FPS. To add a bit more variety lets see how the popular Need For Speed Heat performs on this hardware, which gets a weak 18 FPS.

Increasing resolution to 1440p is something a number of PC gamers are doing today. We tested the GeForce GTX 670 MSI Power Edition at 1440p and researched how Cyberpunk 2077 might perform on it leading us to predict a weak set of FPS results. These were, Low: 0 FPS, Medium: 0 FPS, High: 0 FPS and Ultra: 0 FPS. We then checked out Death Stranding which we predict would have a set of graphics results as followed, L: 0FPS, M: 0FPS, H: 0FPS, U: 0FPS. And another popular game was Need For Speed Heat that returned L: 36FPS, M: 29FPS, H: 19FPS, U: 14FPS at 1440p. Gaming at 1440p with the GeForce GTX 670 MSI Power Edition is going to struggle at this higher gaming resolution.

How many years will the GeForce GTX 670 MSI Power Edition graphics card play newly released games and how long until you should consider upgrading the GeForce GTX 670 MSI Power Edition in your PC? 12-18 months of top end gaming is still left in this graphics card

Whats a good PC graphics upgrade for the GeForce GTX 670 MSI Power Edition? A good upgrade choice for this graphics card today would be the 16 Series GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6GB. For comparison of the 1000 most demanding games around today this suggested upgrade is 105% better and can meet 897 of their recommended requirements. Alternatively we would suggest getting a RX 5000 Series Radeon RX 5500 4GB, as it can run 685 of the top 1000 demanding game requirements today with 53% increased graphics performance.

670 is better than 7950, 7950 competes with the 660 ti, you would be best to choose 670 since it draws less power than th power hungr 7970

i disagree, 7950 competes more with 670, lacking only a few fps behind (oc will fix) However, currently where i live 670 is cheaper and comes with nvidia features which i am fond of. I think it comes down to price, get which is cheapest, and if they're the same, get amd cause youll get 3 games free!
