Radeon HD 6850 GigaByte Edition Game Requirement Analysis

Radeon HD 6850 GigaByte Edition is a special edition of the powerful Radeon HD 6850.
It appears the only differences are the extra 45 MHZ on the core clock and 200 MHZ on the memory clock.
The performance is therefore better than the standard Radeon HD 6850 but still far from the next class GPU - Radeon HD 6870.
Very demanding games should run on high settings while less demanding games should be maxed out easily.

I found this: https://static.kupindoslike.com/EE-ATX-500W-IR_slika_O_34116021.jpg
A PSU operates through +12V, +5V, +3.3V and -12V. The +12V rail gives power to CPU, mobo and GPU, so thats the one you check for amerage. By the picture I found I can see that your PSU has only 18 Amps on the +12V rails, which mean your PSU can give a total of 216 wattage to power the CPU, GPU and mobo.

(+12V x 18A = 216W). Since the Radeon HD 6850 uses 25 amps you would need a PSU capable of using minimum 300W on the +12V rails, this means that you unfortunally would need a more powerful PSU to run this card, sorry to say :(

If your chosen resolution is the one you use for gaming I do not recommend you to upgrade your GPU because its all enough for that resolution and upgrading will be a wasting money :)

Keep that card and save a little money to get a new PSU 600W or so, then you can buy 7950.
