How well can the NVS 2100M run games
14 Nov 2019 - Graphics card reviewed

Based on current gaming requirements the NVS 2100M is considered one of the weakest cards and wont meet modern AAA game specs. NVS 2100M is capable of DirectX 10 gaming requirements.

How many years will the NVS 2100M graphics card play newly released games and how long until you should consider upgrading the NVS 2100M in your PC? You should definitely consider replacing this NVS 2100M graphics card, if it is still in your gaming PC.

Whats a good PC graphics upgrade for the NVS 2100M? A suitable upgrade choice for the NVS 2100M is the 20 Series GeForce RTX 2070 Mobile, which is 4835% more powerful and can run 982 of the 1000 most demanding PC games beating their recommended requirements. Alternatively we would suggest getting a RX 5000 Series Radeon RX 5500M 8GB, as it can run 606 of the top 1000 demanding game requirements today with 2972% increased graphics performance.

NVS 2100M Game Requirement Analysis

NVS 2100M is an entry-level business card with support for special drivers that are certified for professional applications like Microsoft Office Suite, Hummingbird Exceed, Lotus Notes, etc. It's part of the NVS Mobile Series released by NVIDIA, in 2010/2011.
Though business cards have no driver support for games, some of them deliver astonishing performance (e.g. Quadro 6000, Tesla C2075). NVS 2100M does support DirectX 10.1 but the limited Memory Bus and all the rest put together result in poor gaming performance.
Still, it should be enough to handle demanding games like, Crysis 2, on the lowest settings possible but games like Metro 2033 are probably unplayable at the lowest settings.
