14 Nov 2019 - Graphics card reviewed

Based on current gaming requirements the Quadro NVS 130M is considered one of the weakest cards and wont meet modern AAA game specs. This card meets game requirements up to DirectX 10.

How many years will the Quadro NVS 130M graphics card play newly released games and how long until you should consider upgrading the Quadro NVS 130M in your PC? Its upgrade time for the Quadro NVS 130M, assuming you are a modern day gamer.

Whats a good PC graphics upgrade for the Quadro NVS 130M? A great upgrade graphics card would be a 20 Series GeForce RTX 2070 Mobile, which has 15111% better performance and can run 982 of the top 1000 demanding game requirements today. Alternatively if you want an upgrade suggestion for the Quadro NVS 130M then a good choice would be RX 5000 Series Radeon RX 5500M 8GB as this is better than 607 of the top 1000 most demanding game requirements with 9371% better performance as well.

Quadro NVS 130M Game Requirement Analysis

Quadro NVS 130M is a business card with support for special drivers that are certified for professional applications like Microsoft Office Suite, Hummingbird Exceed, Lotus Notes, etc. It's part of the Quadro NVS Mobile Series released by NVIDIA, in 2006/2007/2010.
Though business cards have no driver support for games, some of them deliver astonishing performance (e.g. Quadro 6000, Tesla C2075). Quadro NVS 130M, however, isn't one of them.
The support for DirectX 10 becomes ridiculous when it comes to gaming because eventhough Quadro NVS 130M is clearly better than the previous models it's still incapable of playing today's games like Crysis 2 and Metro 2033, even at the lowest settings and even older games like Resident Evil 5 that use DirectX 10 are most probably unplayable too.
