A true powerhouse, the GeForce RTX 2060 4GB GDDR5 will run even the most demanding game system requirements released today. Capable of running games with up to a DirectX 12 requirement.

How well will the GeForce RTX 2060 4GB GDDR5 run 2019 games? We will take a look at the biggest releases and frames per second analysis on Ultra graphics settings. This graphics hardware can run 922 of the 1000 most demanding PC games played today.

Now onto the frame rates achieved at 1080p. We are seeing Ghost Recon Breakpoint getting 66FPS with the GeForce RTX 2060 4GB GDDR5, eFootball PES 2020 getting 101FPS and The Outer Worlds getting 66frames per second. All run on Ultra at 1920x1080 screen res.

With PC gamers looking for larger screen sizes like 1440p we tested the GeForce RTX 2060 4GB GDDR5 by playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint which yielded a reasonable performance. Its FPS results for the graphics settings are as follows - L: 133FPS, M: 105FPS, H: 70FPS, U: 50FPS. Another popular game we tested with this card was eFootball PES 2020 and that was reasonable. This graphics card delivered 77 FPS at Ultra 1440p. Another popular title was The Outer Worlds which gets reasonable results with a 50FPS on Ultra 1440p. Overview
GeForce RTX 2060 4GB GDDR5 is a mid-range GeForce 20 Series graphics card and considered a great price to performance graphics card based on the Turing architecture.


Architecture
The Turing architecture represents a process shrink down to 12nm compared to 14nm Pascal. The Turing architecture provides the world's first consumer support for real-time ray-tracing technology, or RTX. The GeForce RTX 2060 does support real-time ray-tracing and excels at 1080p screen resolution.


GPU
It equips a Turing GPU codenamed TU106 which has 1920 Shader Processing Units, 120 TMUs and 47 ROPs. The central unit runs at 1365 MHz and goes up to 1680 MHz, in Boost mode.


Memory
The GPU accesses a 4GB frame buffer of slower GDDR5 memory compared to the GDDR6 model, running through a 192-bit memory interface, while the Memory clock operates at 1500MHz, or 14GHz effective.


Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 150W, it requires at least a 450W PSU with an 8-pin power connector.
