How well can the Radeon Pro Duo 32GB run games
12 Jan 2020 - Graphics card reviewed

A true powerhouse, the Radeon Pro Duo 32GB will run even the most demanding game system requirements released today. All games with system requirements of DirectX 12 or lower are met by this card.

Lets look at the Radeon Pro Duo 32GB game performance guide for some of the biggest games played in 2020. In particular we will see how well this graphics card runs on Ultra settings on 1080p resolution as well as 1440p and 4K. 982 games can be played by this graphics card of the 1000 most demanding games being played by PC gamers today.

With 1080p being the most common gaming resolution at the moment we explored how well the Radeon Pro Duo 32GB can run Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at 1080p and saw it return strong frame rates at the following graphics settings - Low: 211 FPS, Medium: 166 FPS, High: 112 FPS and Ultra: 80 FPS. For performance contrast we can see that Red Dead Redemption 2 returns a strong 80 FPS at Ultra 1080p.

People are turning their increasingly more powerful graphics cards to the popular 1440p screen size so we tested the Radeon Pro Duo 32GB to see how it performs on 1440p. First off we have looked at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare where it was good. The frame rates it scored for the game presets were - Low: 161 FPS, Medium: 127 FPS, High: 85 FPS and Ultra: 61 FPS. We added Red Dead Redemption 2 to our tests and saw it was good with a 61 FPS at Ultra 1440p. And then tested Halo: Reach which got 192 FPS at Ultra 1440p. Gaming at 1440p with the Radeon Pro Duo 32GB is more than capable at running this screen resolution. 1440p Ultra across almost all modern games is going to be fairly standard with this GPU. We would consider moving this hardware up to 4K screen resolutions for PC gaming today.

How many years will the Radeon Pro Duo 32GB graphics card play newly released games and how long until you should consider upgrading the Radeon Pro Duo 32GB in your PC? 2-3 years of top end gaming before an upgrade

Whats a good PC graphics upgrade for the Radeon Pro Duo 32GB? A good upgrade choice for this graphics card today would be the 20 Series GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB. For comparison of the 1000 most demanding games around today this suggested upgrade is 21% better and can meet 997 of their recommended requirements.
