How well can the GeForce Titan XP run games
13 Dec 2019 - Graphics card reviewed

A true powerhouse, the GeForce Titan XP will run even the most demanding game system requirements released today. DirectX 12 gaming system requirements will be met by this gpu.

Lets look at the GeForce Titan XP game performance guide for some of the biggest games played in 2019. In particular we will see how well this graphics card runs on Ultra settings on 1080p resolution as well as 1440p and 4K. In comparison to the game recommended requirements of the 1000 most demanding games played today this PC hardware can run 997.

Now onto the frame rates achieved at 1080p. We are seeing Red Dead Redemption 2 getting 92 FPS with the GeForce Titan XP, Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order getting 71 FPS and FIFA 20 getting 255 frames per second. All run on Ultra at 1920x1080 screen res.

People are turning their increasingly more powerful graphics cards to the popular 1440p screen size so we tested the GeForce Titan XP to see how it performs on 1440p. First off we have looked at Red Dead Redemption 2 where it was good. The frame rates it scored for the game presets were - Low: 184 FPS, Medium: 145 FPS, High: 98 FPS and Ultra: 70 FPS. We added Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order to our tests and saw it was reasonable with a 54 FPS at Ultra 1440p. And then tested FIFA 20 which got 195 FPS at Ultra 1440p. After a look at the popular games running at 1440p with the GeForce Titan XP, this is a strong choice at these screen resolutions. With Ultra graphics settings being regularly reached at 1440p gaming its easy to consider bumping up the screen size to 4K for this graphics card.

How many years will the GeForce Titan XP graphics card play newly released games and how long until you should consider upgrading the GeForce Titan XP in your PC? This gpu has around 2+ years of running AAA recommended system requirements before any upgrades should be considered.

Whats a good PC graphics upgrade for the GeForce Titan XP? There are no graphics cards on the current market that would provide a big enough increase in performance to warrant upgrading the GeForce Titan XP.
