Got the non OC version of this card new for just $400
Great gpu :D..
GTA 5 - 4k 50 fps avg and at 2715x1527 very high 70 fps avg
BF4 - 2715x1527 ultra/ low AA 120 fps avg
Battlefront - 2715x1527 ultra/ no AA 60 fps avg
I will play far cry 4, and soon the division..
What about the 980 TI Matrix?
Hello, dose any one own this card and can they tell me if it is worth paying £600 for it, Thanks
depends what are your needs… if you planning gaming on 1080p id say gtx 970 is more then enough or if you can get r9 290 cheaper they have similar performance…those gpus can handle games just fine even on 1440p you can bump setting up and should mainttain 60 frames for next 2-3years for sure hope this helps
i have one
it kicks ass in 1080p even in games like gta v/watchdogs (60 or higher fps ultra) (some drops to -40)
1440p and above would only be fine for less demanding games like MGS V PP
but if you are really on 720p… get a 970
for 1080p it depends if you want to live with non-ultra settings in GTAV/whatever…
Thanks to both of you for the replies, I will be running on 1440p in a few weeks. would it last a few years in 1440p with all games on high/ultra? Thanks in advanced.
I really recommend getting a cheaper card than a 980-Ti and wait untill new HBM cards come out.
This card can run Batman Arkham Knight at 1440p maxed out including Gameworks features and has average of 70fps lol you'll be fine, get this card.
I purchase mine at 450euros and trade my old gpu a gtx evga 780 sc acx.
In few years I will buy another rig with a new pascal gpu and a motherboard with all the benefits for the gpu.
