How well can the GeForce GTX 770 Gainward 2GB Edition run games
28 Nov 2019 - Graphics card reviewed

This graphics card offers upper mid level gaming performance. The GeForce GTX 770 Gainward 2GB Edition GPU could struggle if it was to try and run the most demanding games available today, but it meets a lot of game system requirements found in today’s games. Capable of running games with up to a DirectX 12 requirement.

This PC hardware performance game review for the GeForce GTX 770 Gainward 2GB Edition graphics card, when running 2019 more popular games, lets us see what type of FPS this card gets when playing at 1080p, 1440p and 4K screen resolutions and ultra settings. The GeForce GTX 770 Gainward 2GB Edition can run the recommended graphics system requirements for 311 games today, of the top 1000 most demanding.

Running at 1080p this card gets a weak frame rate from Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order with 1 FPS on Ultra. Then we take a look at Red Dead Redemption 2 which returns a weak 24 FPS. Another title that we looked at is the popular Microsoft Flight Simulator which we predict will get a weak 1 FPS.

One of the growing popular screen resolutions for PC gaming is the wider 1440p. So we wanted to see how well the GeForce GTX 770 Gainward 2GB Edition performed at 1440p by taking a look at some of the current popular games. First we looked at Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order and saw it deliver weak frames per second across the following graphics settings - Low: 1 FPS, Medium: 1 FPS, High: 1 FPS and Ultra: 0 FPS. We then checked the performance on Red Dead Redemption 2 to see if that runs well. It was weak with a 18 FPS at Ultra 1440p. After a look at the popular games running at 1440p with the GeForce GTX 770 Gainward 2GB Edition, this is not a viable PC gaming choice.
