After having this card for almost 2 years now and having gone thru a couple of the more recent AAA games, I have to say that it consistently outperforms whatever I see online. I dont even have it overclocked much, just the memory to 1990mhz. The 2gb vram also hasnt been an issue even with rottr, hitman, division, gta v

hitman = high with shadows at medium 40-60fps
division = mixture of settings but mostly med-high with hbao (huge fps hit), smaa ultra 45-60fps
gta v = mostly very high, post fx and shadows high, msaa 2x + mfaa 60fps with maybe a few dips

Mainstream then?
Sorry I also don't get what you mean. A lot of people think this card is crap but I don't think it should be classified as low end. I obviously think it is good enough since I bought it.

@promaster: cool! Try and get it while its still bundled with TW3!
But yeah its ridiculous how much hate this card is getting.
As it is right now, I'm pretty happy that I decided to go for the 960.
