Here is a performance review on how capable the GeForce GTX 960 EVGA SuperSC ACX 2.0+ 2GB Edition is at running the more popular games of 2019. Specifically looking at this PC hardware’s ability to get suitable frames per second to play on Ultra game settings and what FPS it might get on 1080p, 1440p and 4K screen res. The GeForce GTX 960 EVGA SuperSC ACX 2.0+ 2GB Edition graphics card is returning a weak performance on Need For Speed Heat at 1080p of 19 frames per second at Ultra graphics settings. Another popular title that is good to benchmark graphics cards against is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which we saw got weak frame rates of 13 FPS. A third game we can look at on Ultra at 1080p is the popular Microsoft Flight Simulator, which is predicted to get 0 FPS under tests.

Increasing resolution to 1440p is something a number of PC gamers are doing today. We tested the GeForce GTX 960 EVGA SuperSC ACX 2.0+ 2GB Edition at 1440p with Need For Speed Heat, which got a weak set of FPS results. These were, Low: 37 FPS, Medium: 29 FPS, High: 20 FPS and Ultra: 14 FPS. We then checked out Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which had a set of graphics results as followed, L: 25FPS, M: 20FPS, H: 13FPS, U: 10FPS. The GTX 960 does perform better than the R9 280 but if I were you I'd just save up for the R9 380.

really depends on what games you intend to play. The 2GB and 128 bit bus will be limiting factors, but if you play light games like MMOs, yea it will be fine.
