GeForce GTX 950 2GB Features a GPU Codenamed GM206-250 which is a Second Gen Maxwell GPU. It offers DirectX Feature Level of 12.1 and the Third Generation Delta Color Compression Technology which increases bandwidth efficiency by 30%.
It has 6 Stream Multiprocessors activated and offers 768 Shader Processing Units, 48 TMUs and 32 ROPs.

I had gtx 950 with a10-6800k OC to 4.7GHz it worked fine but now after I start to use it with i5 3570k I can tell it was bottlenecked by CPU. Long story short I think you made a good choice with your CPU more powerful/expensive GPUs would be waste of money.
