GeForce GTX 750 Ti PNY Performance OC 2GB Edition Game Requirement Analysis

GeForce GTX 750 Ti PNY Performance OC 2GB Edition is a special edition of the fast-middle-class GeForce GTX 750 Ti.
This edition comes with a custom cooling cooling solution which by itself will allow a slight performance boost, as GeForce GTX 750 Ti benefits from the GPU Boost 2.0 technology.
Furthermore, it comes overclocked out of the box in the central unit that was raised from 1020MHz to 1202MHz, while the Turbo Boost is now of 1281MHz, instead of 1085MHz. The operating memory clock was increased to 1502MHz, increasing its much needed memory bandwidth. Further overclocking can be achieved easily, as the GPU has great OC potential.
Benchmarks indicate its performance is over around 14% better than the reference NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti and thus GeForce GTX 750 Ti StormX Dual Edition is faster than Radeon HD 7850 and GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost Edition and as fast as the powerful Radeon R7 265.

@ your res I'm sure :D How well does it perform in the latest games? I'm really curious because a lot of GD-ers have the 750ti and ask how well games run on the discussion pages. It'd help me out to get your input!

It runs well! no stuttering or hiccups when I play Skyrim with 100+ mods including high resolution textures @ stable 75FPS, but I guess that is to be expected when I play on 1440x900. I'm planning on upgrading to a 2560x1080p ultra wide monitor over the summer so we'll see how the fastest 750Ti holds up to that.

I would say 5%. Out of the box, this thing is as fast as a stock R7 265, which is pretty impressive. If you can overclock this baby, you can see similar performance to a GTX 660 stock.

I have also noticed since I've achieved the stable over clock of 16.5% on both the memory and core clocks that my card performs 4.7% better than this card.

I am using the PNY non overclocked model manually overclocked by 16.5% on both the core and memory clocks. I am using this in combination with a FX8320 and 14GB 1600MHz RAM and it runs smooth without a hitch.

This GPU supports DX11, but on game comparisions, the DX11 capacity of this GPU isn't considered. Is it a bug?

You should have no problems with that GPU and CPU combo. I have the reference version of this card and I OC'd it by only 13%. My board doesn't allow for factory OC cards but that's OK. Yes you should be able to play most games on high settings in 1080p natively. Plus the start up screen will be in 1080p.
