Radeon R9 280 Asus DirectCU II TOP 3GB Edition is a special edition of the high-end Radeon R9 280.
This edition comes with a custom cooling system, which reduces the card's temperature under load significantly and comes overclocked out of the box in the central unit that was increased from 827MHz to 874MHz, while the Boost clock is now of 980MHz. Furthermore, the operating memory clock was increased to 1300MHz.
Benchmarks indicate a 5% performance boost over the standard edition and so this edition is more powerful than GeForce GTX 760.

Is it reasonable to upgrade my PC to this card or similar? If not can someone recommend a better one. I think the CPU might be a bottleneck, but I can't upgrade it right now. I can get more memory though.
