Getting one of these Radeon HD 7950 Sapphire OC 3GB 950MHz Edition graphics cards allows the gamer to run indie system requirements and some less demanding AAA titles. In today’s PC hardware terms these are considered middle range for gaming performance. Capable of running games with up to a DirectX 11 requirement.

We take a look at game performance achieved on this graphics card when running 2019 popular games. This short Radeon HD 7950 Sapphire OC 3GB 950MHz Edition game hardware review looks at the graphics card frame rate performance on Ultra graphics settings at 1080p, 1440p and 4K screen resolutions. Of the 1000 most demanding recommended specs found in game requirements today, this gpu is more powerful than the graphics requirement of 158 games in todays list.

Now onto the frame rates achieved at 1080p. We predict that Cyberpunk 2077 will get 0 FPS with the Radeon HD 7950 Sapphire OC 3GB 950MHz Edition, Diablo 4 predicted to get 0 FPS and Red Dead Redemption 2 getting 14 frames per second. All run on Ultra at 1920x1080 screen res.

One of the growing popular screen resolutions for PC gaming is the wider 1440p. So we wanted to see how well the Radeon HD 7950 Sapphire OC 3GB 950MHz Edition performed at 1440p by taking a look at some of the current popular games. First we looked at Cyberpunk 2077 and predict it will deliver weak frames per second across the following graphics settings - Low: 0 FPS, Medium: 0 FPS, High: 0 FPS and Ultra: 0 FPS. We then checked the performance on Diablo 4 to predict if that will run well. It is predicted to be weak with a 0 FPS at Ultra 1440p. Running games at 1440p with a Radeon HD 7950 Sapphire OC 3GB 950MHz Edition is unable to perform adequately across modern games at this increased resolution.

I think it does bottleneck, but you can easily check that by using a program like MSi Afterburner to monitor its performance in a (CPU-demanding) game.
