How well can the GeForce GTX Titan Z run games
28 Nov 2019 - Graphics card reviewed

The GeForce GTX Titan Z will blast beyond the majority of games requirements at 1080p, so crank up your screen resolution to 1440p or 4K and let the beautiful AAA game visuals wash over you. This is how gaming is meant to be played but you are likely to have to pay top dollar for the GeForce GTX Titan Z privilege. But if you can get this graphics solution, then its happy gaming. Capable of running games with up to a DirectX 11 requirement.

Here we take a closer look at the various performances across 1080p, 1440p and 4K screen resolutions for the GeForce GTX Titan Z. In particular this is looking at the Ultra graphics settings to see what sort of FPS this graphics card can get across some of the more popular games played in 2019. The GeForce GTX Titan Z can run the recommended graphics system requirements for 967 games today, of the top 1000 most demanding.

With 1080p being the most common gaming resolution at the moment we explored how well the GeForce GTX Titan Z can run The Outer Worlds at 1080p and saw it return good frame rates at the following graphics settings - Low: 187 FPS, Medium: 148 FPS, High: 99 FPS and Ultra: 71 FPS. For performance contrast we can see that FIFA 20 returns a strong 197 FPS at Ultra 1080p.

People are turning their increasingly more powerful graphics cards to the popular 1440p screen size so we tested the GeForce GTX Titan Z to see how it performs on 1440p. First off we have looked at The Outer Worlds where it was reasonable. The frame rates it scored for the game presets were - Low: 143 FPS, Medium: 113 FPS, High: 76 FPS and Ultra: 54 FPS. We added FIFA 20 to our tests and saw it was strong with a 150 FPS at Ultra 1440p. And then researched Cyberpunk 2077 leading us to predict 42 FPS at Ultra 1440p. 1440p GeForce GTX Titan Z PC gaming is a solid performer with higher resolution modern gaming. This graphics card can also bump up to 4K gaming regularly with the latest games still being capable of high or ultra graphics settings at this level.

How many years will the GeForce GTX Titan Z graphics card play newly released games and how long until you should consider upgrading the GeForce GTX Titan Z in your PC? No graphics card upgrade required for 2 to 3 years of meeting top end game system requirements

Whats a good PC graphics upgrade for the GeForce GTX Titan Z? If you want an upgrade suggestion for the GeForce GTX Titan Z then a good choice would be 20 Series GeForce RTX 2070 Super 8GB as this is better than 994 of the top 1000 most demanding game requirements with 20% better performance as well.

GeForce GTX Titan Z Game Requirement Analysis

The GeForce GTX Titan Z is a dual-graphics solution of two GeForce GTX Titan Black. It is thus based on the 28nm, Kepler architecture.
It offers two full Kepler GK110 GPUs and thus features 5760 Shader Processing Units, 480 TMUs and 96 ROPs, on a 768-bit memory interface of fast GDDR5. While the central unit runs at 706MHz and goes up to 836MHz, in turbo mode, the memory clock operates at 1750MHz. GeForce GTX Titan Z has a rated board TDP of 375W and thus consumes around 25% less than a SLI solution of GeForce GTX Titan Black, while it offers the same performance.
GeForce GTX Titan Z is thus suited for 5K gaming and should only be paired with an extremely powerful processor, as well as 12GB of RAM.
Its release price of $2999 makes it a very unattractive product as it offers twice as much performance as a GeForce GTX Titan Black but it costs three times more. Furthermore, the $1500 worth Radeon R9 295X2 is still faster.

As long as the motherboard you put them in supports 3 GFX cards then yes, it is possible. Better have lots of power in your PSU to support it!

If i'm not mistaking, dual cpu computers are used in servers and mainly processing units. Not necessarily as desktops.

This is a great card. As all of you know, snipping tool and ms paint are both very demanding software, and with this card I can run snipping tool faster and draw a picture on ms paint very smoothly on medium settings at lowest resolution

And since we know GTA San Andreas is a very demanding game, this card can run it at almost medium settings. You can even watch a youtube video at 360p. 13/10 would get for Paint. IGN 15646/10 : I can finally play Need for Speed Underground at low settings and browse the internet

i was in your boat man. I had the same 660. I like 60+fps on the highest settings so i got the 780 Classified. This is a waste of money. Mine is 31% worse for $580. If your 1080p or 2k. Grab 2 if you want 4k. Still half the price.
