GeForce GTX 750 Ti EVGA SuperClocked 2GB Edition Game Requirement Analysis

GeForce GTX 750 Ti EVGA SuperClocked 2GB Edition is a special edition of the fast-middle-class GeForce GTX 750 Ti.
This edition comes with a custom cooling cooling solution which by itself will allow a slight performance boost, as GeForce GTX 750 Ti benefits from the GPU Boost 2.0 technology.
Furthermore, it comes overclocked out of the box in the central unit that was raised from 1020MHz to 1176MHz, while the Turbo Boost is now of 1255MHz, instead of 1085MHz. The operating memory clock was left untouched. Further overclocking can be achieved easily, as the GPU has great OC potential.
Benchmarks indicate its performance is over around 7% better than the reference NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti and thus this card is as fast as Radeon HD 7850 and GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost Edition.

Is my mobo compatible with this gpu? Intel has discontinued the 'dh61ho' board thus making it impossible to get any further bios updates.

Hello all. I have an off-the-shelf desktop with a stock 300W PSU. Will this card work with my processor or will the power draw be too much? Thanks!

It says it only requires 300W on the website though. And I posted on Tom's Hardware and I was told it would work fine. Can you explain? I'm a noob. :) Thanks!

I did some research too and i found out that some brands add an additional 6-pin connector for overclocking.

I am going to buy an MSI GTX 750 Ti TF and on the site it says it needs a 500W power supply. I think this should be a mistake.

This shows total system draw to be less than 200W: http://www.anandtech.com/show/7764/the-nvidia-geforce-gtx-750-ti-and-gtx-750-review-maxwell/22

Yep, it was a huge mistake on the site.

I bought the MSI GTX 750 Ti TF and as i expected, it has no 6-pin connector.

Could you tell me what the total power draw of your system is with the card please? I've been told 300W will work for the EVGA one but I'm still a bit skeptical

Decided to get the non over clocked version of this card so I can do a more stable over clock of 10%… That still will make my card better than the Zotac Geforce GTX 650 TI 2 GB over clocked by 10%…

Gonna replace a Zotac Geforce GTX 650 TI 2GB video card with this one… Was going to get the boost version but they discontinued that one and made this one instead… I still think this is a good card though but could have put a 192 bit bus on it instead of the 128 bit bus though… Will this GPU be a good G-Sync solution???

I am gonna get the no super clocked version of this card. Video cards with the reference clocks have better over clocking and stability on my rig.

Its completly true that the R9 270X is slightly better than the GTX 750 Ti, but you must keep in mind that you need a 6-pin connector for the R9 270X.

Thats the reason i would choose the GTX.

Have a nice day :D
