How well can the GeForce GTX 770 EVGA SC Edition run games
14 Nov 2019 - Graphics card reviewed

This graphics card offers upper mid level gaming performance. The GeForce GTX 770 EVGA SC Edition GPU could struggle if it was to try and run the most demanding games available today, but it meets a lot of game system requirements found in today’s games. DirectX 12 gaming system requirements will be met by this gpu.

What FPS performance can the GeForce GTX 770 EVGA SC Edition get on latest AAA 2019 games? In particular our game review looks at the FPS achieved running on Ultra graphics settings on the 1080p screen resolution as well as 1440p and 4K. The GeForce GTX 770 EVGA SC Edition can run the recommended graphics system requirements for 333 games today, of the top 1000 most demanding.

With 1080p being the most common gaming resolution at the moment we explored how well the GeForce GTX 770 EVGA SC Edition can run Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at 1080p and saw it return weak frame rates at the following graphics settings - Low: 54 FPS, Medium: 43 FPS, High: 29 FPS and Ultra: 21 FPS. For performance contrast we can see that Cyberpunk 2077 is predicted to return a weak 4 FPS at Ultra 1080p.

Next up we increase screen res tests to accommodate the growing in popularity 1440p screen size. So we booted up Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to see how the GeForce GTX 770 EVGA SC Edition dealt with it. It scored up a weak series of FPS results across these graphics presets - Low: 41 FPS, Medium: 33 FPS, High: 22 FPS and Ultra: 16 FPS. Next we looked at Cyberpunk 2077 which we predict will be weak with a 3 FPS at Ultra 1440p. And finally looked at Need For Speed Heat that got an Ultra 1440p FPS of 20. Gaming at 1440p with the GeForce GTX 770 EVGA SC Edition is the wrong choice for PC gaming.

How many years will the GeForce GTX 770 EVGA SC Edition graphics card play newly released games and how long until you should consider upgrading the GeForce GTX 770 EVGA SC Edition in your PC? 12-18 months of top end gaming is still left in this graphics card

Whats a good PC graphics upgrade for the GeForce GTX 770 EVGA SC Edition? Upgrading this graphics card would have us consider the 16 Series GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB which is 88% more powerful. This upgrade choice can also run 900 games from the most demanding games today. Alternatively if you are thinking of upgrading this graphics card then we would currently suggest the RX 5000 Series Radeon RX 5500 4GB. This PC hardware upgrade performs 38% better and can run 684 of today’s 1000 most demanding PC games.

I'm considering making this card my next upgrade. I currently have a 630W PSU with 50A on the 12V rail. Should I consider upgrading the PSU as well? I'm not doing anything fancy like SLI or custom cooling aside from a few 120mm case fans

I have a 750w psu with a split 12v rail one @ 28A and the other @ 23A, will this be enough for this card? How can I combine the amperages?

in this case the Amps can be summed up, so definitely it's enough for one GTX770 :Đ
