31 Oct 2019 - Graphics card reviewed

This graphics card offers upper mid level gaming performance. The GeForce GTX 670 FTW SIG2 2GB Edition GPU could struggle if it was to try and run the most demanding games available today, but it meets a lot of game system requirements found in today’s games. GeForce GTX 670 FTW SIG2 2GB Edition is capable of DirectX 11 gaming requirements.

We take a look at game performance achieved on this graphics card when running 2019 popular games. This short GeForce GTX 670 FTW SIG2 2GB Edition game hardware review looks at the graphics card frame rate performance on Ultra graphics settings at 1080p, 1440p and 4K screen resolutions. 283 games can be played by this graphics card of the 1000 most demanding games being played by PC gamers today.

The GeForce GTX 670 FTW SIG2 2GB Edition graphics card is returning a weak performance on Red Dead Redemption 2 at 1080p of 18 frames per second at Ultra graphics settings. Another popular title that is good to benchmark graphics cards against is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which we saw got weak frame rates of 12 FPS. A third game we can look at on Ultra at 1080p is the popular FIFA 20, which was getting 85 FPS under tests.

With PC gamers looking for larger screen sizes like 1440p we tested the GeForce GTX 670 FTW SIG2 2GB Edition by playing Red Dead Redemption 2 which yielded a weak performance. Its FPS results for the graphics settings are as follows - L: 36FPS, M: 29FPS, H: 19FPS, U: 14FPS. Another popular game we tested with this card was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and that was weak. This graphics card delivered 9 FPS at Ultra 1440p. Another popular title was FIFA 20 which gets good results with a 65FPS on Ultra 1440p. After a look at the popular games running at 1440p with the GeForce GTX 670 FTW SIG2 2GB Edition, this is not a bad choice for a larger screen size like this. Some games will struggle though, but with some careful graphic option adjustments in-game you can normally find a suitable visual experience with this GPU at 1440p.

I am getting strange lags in BF4 with this card. Might it be bottleneck?

What type of lags? If it is low framerate in general, it could be your cpu. Keep in mind that particle effects are pretty demanding in BF4, so your GPU could also be the problem.

It is just low framerate, I use the Nvidia experience application to set the recommended settings for me. Other games like Crysis 2 and Tomb Raider plays perfectly at their highest setting, but it is just BF4 that has these lags.
