Just going to say, that's absolute crap saying you need a 450 watt PSU, I have 500 and sometimes have trouble. It will run games on high settings, sure, but make sure you have a decent cooling system and 600 watt PSU.

450W is what AMD specifies. What PSU do you have? The amperage and the continuous power through 12V is more important than the total wattage; in the end of the day, a no-name PSU often doesn't deliver the labeled power.

it's a 230V with 5A current, and 500W PSU that just came with the PC when i bought it. Anyway it's mainly the cooling system that's the problem which is why i said you should get a 600W PSU as the GPU does get very hot very quickly with the power it uses and only having one fan.

but how many amps on the +12V rail? the card gets the power from there and its amperage counts. assuming the card consumes 90 watts then your PSU would need to supply 7.5 or 8 amps on the +12V at akk times to keep the card stable & running

Last week I got FC3 and I was just playing the campaign on high settings averaging at around 50 FPS and the GPU couldn't take it anymore and my whole PC popped and then shut down. It's fine now but at the moment I really don't want to risk playing on anything above low(BTW i was playing in 1080)
