Single card is mostly the way to go. Drivers for crossfire and SLI are still not what they should be (although it's getting better), and not all games even support CF/SLI. Might I suggest getting the HD7870 XT? It's actually a HD7950 with some disabled cores, and can be just as good with some overclocking…
