I'm thinking about replacing this vcard for something about the range of $150-$200, like a R9 270x, but I don't know if it'll bottleneck my CPU. Keep in mind:
*I can't neither overclock my cpu nor get a better one.
*Want 1080p gaming.

Considering that this is a mid-end card in a single-card configuration, you won't need an ultra-fast CPU. The FX-6350 should work just fine.

I used to have this same issue. It even shut down during a bios update. My uncle was able to save it, though. And since the bios update it hasn't happened. So I would try updating the bios.

just keep on doing the basic OC steps and stress testing it with furmark or the likes, checking for artifacts and the temperature. IMO you need not OC it and shorten its life.
